The
Training Centre Facilities consist of a 20 metre sand
round yard with lights. We also have two main arenas on
the property, one 25 mtrs x 70 mtrs. The second arena measures 40 mtrs x 60 mtrs
with lights. The arena equates to 2 dressage arenas side
by side. This arena is an all weather surface, great for dressage on one side and
reining on the other. Ten steel horse yards with
shelters are provided for each horse in training along with seven stables suitable for stallions
- bookings are essential.
For overnight visitors there are tent campsites
available, or you may be inclined to camp in your float.
The Shed is fully equipped with shower, toilet, fridge, microwave, dryer and all kitchen and
dining utensils. A small television is also provided for
when your not playing with your pony. Kick back and watch a movie (so don't forget to
bring one or we do have some available for hire
$1/night). These facilities are shared by all visitors. The "donkey" wood fire hot water system,
contributes to the country atmosphere.
For the non-campers there are country motels in Kilcoy
and Woodford which are only 15 minutes from the Training
Centre. Mobile phone service is not strong but it also depends on who you are
with e.g.. Telstra, Optus etc. We have ten horse yards
for visitors which are approx 5mtr square. They are timber posts with a 2inch
steel pipe top rail. They have three strands of poly
pipe with an electric offset and a wire gate. Power is supplied to the yards. If you are unsure
about your horse in a tape yard, please contact us to
make other arrangements. A water tank is situated approximately ten metres from the
yards and if you have any concerns about your horse not
drinking tank water, please bring molasses to add to the drinking water.
The facility trading hours are 7.00 am to 5.00 pm
Wednesday through Saturday. Our gates are locked outside
the trading hours unless arranged in advance.

About the Centre:
Due to the sensitive nature of our training with young
horses and high performance horses, we ask that while
you are visiting our training facility you don't wonder around
the centre and handle in any way the other horses in for
training. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
Lesson times allocated need to be kept, as the
next appointment/training session is able to keep their
time allocated. Please do all that is possible to keep with your time allocated - if not
your lesson may need to be re allocated to the next
available time. Lesson times can be extended for the particular behaviour pattern that is
currently been worked on. You may be 85% too completing
the training within that lesson. You will then be given the option to continue or the
option to recommence with your next lesson which could
quite possibly take you back to the beginning of that behaviour and start from scratch ,
it maybe a time factor or financial factor please inform
us of your intentions. Please be aware that some people are private with their lessons
and if you wish to watch another riders lesson please
make the enquiry if that would be
appropriate at the time.
Riding areas - the areas available for riding
are as marked within the training centre - Arenas and
round yard only. All trail riding is done off the property. All riding on the property is to
supervised or authorized by your riding instructor.
The Shed, - Due to the operation of
the facility with lessons & training sessions running
continuously throughout the day, parking is only appropriate at the Shed car park. For your safety and
wellbeing while enjoying your stay with us “The Shed” is
designed to be a comfortable area to sit while you are not having a lesson. The Shed
is a shared facility and has a cleaning schedule every
morning Monday to Friday done by a member of the Equine Communication team.
Bathroom facilities can be located at the shed.
