The
Re-Education Program is available for the rider who needs assistance
with their horses behaviour. The structure has been put into place so
the horse is able to stay at the Training Centre for the period
determined by the initial assessment. This period can range usually from
one to six weeks depending on the capacity of the owner/rider.
The first stage of
training is with the horse. The second stage of training is with the
rider. The final stage is going home when you are confident to be able
to handle and train the horse with the techniques taught. Any training
sessions with out behaviour instructor is $55 per session. When that has
been put in place, you will progress to the maintenance program which is
valued at $27.50 per half hour. Other costs that may be involved would
be agistment at $5.50 per day and treatments required i.e.: worming,
farrier or dentistry work.

assessment. There are two venues where we do assessments - The Equine
Communication Centre & Cushavon Park. However, all horse re-education
training is done at the training centre.
Please note: It is
strongly recommended that all horses have their own insurance for
agistment purposes.
